FlashMob is thrilled* to announce our first sponsorship from The Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home & Museum in Mansfield, Missouri! This partnership became reality thanks to our singer, Justine—who we must call Susan ‘Sue’ Goodspeed—after she achieved the incredible feat of visiting all 57 childhood homes of Laura Ingalls Wilder. This includes those less-popular southern state homes the TV show avoided, as their storylines didn’t quite age well. Clair Wilben, owner of the museum, remarked, “We never thought anyone would actually visit all the locations. It really forced our hand, unfortunately.” She added, “So, I guess we’re sponsoring a rock and roll band.” When corrected and told FlashMob is a cover band, Clair simply said, “Oh, Jesus Christ…”

As part of this exciting sponsorship, FlashMob will trade in our signature suits and ties for authentic Walnut Grove-inspired 1890s period-authentic attire. We can’t wait to channel the pioneer spirit in style while continuing to bring our music to fans old and new. Stay tuned for our prairie chic debut! And in the meantime, we recommend visiting any one of the many lovely and not haunted at all Laura Ingalls Wilder homes and museums. New locations opening weekly!
