What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of FlashMob!? Obviously, words like “sexy” and “famous” and “well above average” pop into your head. “Marathon runners?” Yeah, but no. However, we’re pretty good at entertaining people that feel inclined to run without being chased.
The Minnesota Vikings came calling for precisely that at the Vikings 5K After Party outdoor event. The day started out with 30mph winds and flurries and didn’t get tremendously better, but a few strategically-placed hand warmers can do wonders. We strolled around the 50 yard line of the practice field. We schmoozed with cheerleaders. We tested our arms with a few misplaced practice throws. But mostly, we rocked and rolled until every last soul finally bolted for warmth.
All in all, it was a cold, but really fun day. We’ve now played events for the Twins, the Vikings, and the NCHC Frozen Faceoff. Hey Timberwolves, we have you in our sights.
